Day 1:
Sunday – Arrival in Zanzibar Airport
Transfer: Upon arrival at Zanzibar International Airport, you will be greeted by Halal Cruise representative who will assist you with your transfer to Tembo Hotel, a 4* hotel on the edges of the beach, within the UNESCO Heritage Site of Stone Town.
Check-in and Orientation: After check-in, you’ll have some time to settle in and get acquainted with the hotel facilities, and relax by the hotel pool. Spend your evening at leisure to unwind from your travel. You may stroll along the beach or enjoy a nice dinner at the hotel.
DAY 2
Monday – Beach Adventure
Horseriding on the beach (Morning): Start your day with a horseback ride along the pristine coastline. This early morning activity offers stunning views of the ocean and it’s a wonderful way to experience the beauty of Zanzibar’s beaches.
Beach Visit in the South: After the horse ride, head to one of the southern beaches for a relaxing afternoon. Zanzibar’s southern beaches eg. Paje are quieter and less crowded, making them perfect for unwinding. You can swim, sunbathe, or just enjoy the serene surroundings.
Evening at leisure: Return to your hotel for a relaxing evening. You might want to explore the hotel’s restaurant or one of the nearby mouthwatering restaurants or simply enjoy a quiet night.
DAY 3
Tuesday – Marine Day Nakupenda Sandbank Tour:
Visit Nakupenda Sandbank, a stunning, uninhabited sandbar surrounded by crystal-clear waters. Enjoy snorkelling in the vibrant coral reefs, relax on the soft white sands, and swim in the warm Indian Ocean. BBQ Lunch on the Sandbank: Experience a freshly prepared seafood BBQ right on the sandbank, with delicious local dishes and refreshing drinks.
Safari Blue: In the afternoon, take a Safari Blue tour, which includes more snorkelling in Menai Bay, dolphin spotting, and sailing on a traditional dhow. The tour allows you to explore more of Zanzibar’s pristine marine environment, with the chance to swim, spot wildlife, and enjoy the tranquillity of the sea.
Return to Hotel: After your day on the water, return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.
DAY 4
Wednesday: Day Safari to Mikumi
Embark on a full-day safari to Mikumi National Park, located on the mainland of Tanzania.
This park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and many species of birds. Enjoy game drives and the opportunity to spot wildlife in their natural habitat. Lunch at the Park: Enjoy a picnic lunch or a meal at a local lodge within the park, while taking in the scenic views. Don’t forget to wear safari colours!
Return to Zanzibar, and enjoy time relaxing back at the hotel
DAY 5
Thursday: – Nature and Wildlife Turtle Swimming Experience:
Head to a turtle sanctuary where you’ll have the chance to swim with and interact with sea turtles. Zanzibar’s rich marine life includes endangered turtle species, and you can learn about conservation efforts while enjoying a memorable experience in the ocean. Optional Beach Picnic or Relaxation: After the turtle swim, enjoy a relaxing beach picnic or simply unwind at your leisure
Afternoon: Stone Town Islamic Walking Tour: Discover Zanzibar’s rich cultural and Islamic heritage with a walking tour of Stone Town. Visit important sites such as the Old Fort, the House of Wonders, and the Palace Museum. Learn about the island’s diverse history, from its Arab influence to its colonial past. Meet the boys of Zanizbar!
Evening at Leisure: Return to your hotel and enjoy a leisurely evening, perhaps opting for a sunset walk or a dinner at a local restaurant.
DAY 6: Friday
ATV Riding: Start your day with an exciting ATV ride through scenic trails. Explore Zanzibar’s rural areas, including its lush forests, quiet beaches, and local villages. The ATV ride provides a thrilling adventure and a chance to see Zanzibar’s less-travelled landscapes.
- Back to Hotel to prepare for Jumah prayers.
- Jumah prayers at the Masjid Sultan Qabus.
Lunch: Enjoy a traditional Zanzibari lunch at a local restaurant, sampling dishes like Zanzibar biryani, ugali, and fresh seafood.
Sunset Dhow Cruise, Embark on a sunset dhow cruise. Sail along the coast of Zanzibar, enjoying breathtaking views of the setting sun and the island’s coastline. A sunset dhow cruise is the perfect way to unwind and take in the natural beauty of the area.
Return to Hotel: After the cruise, return to Tembo Hotel for your relaxing evening.

DAY 7
Saturday - Final day
Relax and departure Relaxing morning:
Enjoy a leisurely morning at the beach or by the pool, shop for last minute souvenirs, spices, jewellery, and locally crafted items at Stone Town.
Transfer to the airport.
