As we bid farewell to Lan Ha Bay, a delightful breakfast is served aboard our cruise as we cruise back to the Gia Luan jetty, taking in the scenic beauty along the way.
Our next adventure leads us to the Cat Ba World Biosphere, a remarkable natural wonder waiting to be explored. A 30-minute transfer from Gia Luan brings us to Trung Trang, one of the most awe-inspiring caves on Cat Ba Island, Vietnam. This limestone cave is adorned with thousands of stalactites in diverse shapes, offering geological marvels and a glimpse into a typical cave ecosystem.
After our cave exploration, we’ll return to the main boat, and it’s time to check out of your cabins. Please place your luggage outside of the cabin to prepare for disembarkation. Before departing the cruise, you can settle any outstanding bar bills at the desk in the restaurant.
Bid adieu to the luxury cruise as we disembark and transfer back to the Marina and we embark on our journey back to Hanoi for our flight to Saigon.

SAIGON - ISLAMIC TOUR OF SAIGON - HALF DAY CITY TOUR (B-L-D)

In the afternoon, we’ll transfer you to a hidden mosque tucked away in a small alley in Saigon. Along the way, you’ll have the unique opportunity to witness the daily lives of the locals, as the true soul of Saigon often reveals itself within its winding alleys.
Our journey continues to another area of the city, situated along the riverbanks, where you’ll witness the vibrant trading culture on the water. While it may not be as bustling as a floating market, this trading on boats has deep cultural roots in Saigon. Our exploration leads us to another mosque in a surprising location—an ideal place to share the story of how local people practise the Islamic faith in Vietnam.
Our final stop on this captivating tour is China Town, where the bustling Binh Tay Market awaits. Here, you’ll immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of this bustling marketplace.
In the midst of our adventure, we will pause for Jumah Prayer at the mosque, ensuring a spiritual and reflective moment during our exploration.
Following our immersive tour, we’ll gather for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit the former Presidential Palace, known today as the Reunification Palace. Our journey then takes us to the historical heart of the city. Nearby, we’ll explore the old Central Post Office and the hotel that marked the departure point for the last US helicopter during the Vietnam War.
Continuing our exploration, we’ll visit the best-preserved colonial-era buildings, including the Opera House and the Hotel de Ville, now home to Saigon’s City Hall. Our journey will also lead us to the Catinat building, built in 1927 in an art deco style, which has once again become a hub for fashion-conscious Saigonese, housing designer boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and cafes.
As the day concludes, we’ll enjoy a delightful dinner at a local restaurant, savouring the flavours of Saigon’s cuisine.

DAY 8
After a satisfying breakfast, our day begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Saigon as we embark on an excursion to Cu Chi, situated in the outskirts of this bustling city. Our destination is the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, a remarkable testament to history and resilience.
Upon arrival, we’ll delve into the intricate network of Cu Chi Tunnels, an immense and interconnected underground labyrinth stretching over 250 kilometres in length. These tunnels played a pivotal role in military campaigns during the Vietnam War. Originally used by Viet Cong soldiers as hiding spots during combat, they also served as vital supply routes, clandestine hospitals, and secret caches for food and weapons.
Explore the tunnels and gain firsthand insight into the challenging conditions and resourcefulness of the soldiers who utilised them. Learn about their ingenious designs and the strategic significance of these tunnels during the war.
