Night Illuminated River Guided Boat Tour

London’s most impressive bridges at night

The Illuminated River project is transforming the capital at night, lighting 9 bridges on the River Thames between London to Lambeth bridges, making it the longest public art commission in the world. The first four bridges were illuminated in 2019: London, Cannon Street, Southwark, and Millennium bridges. Earlier this year five more bridges were lit up: Blackfriars, Waterloo, Golden Jubilee, Westminster, and Lambeth bridges.

Internationally acclaimed artist Leo Villareal and British architectural practice Liftschutz Davidson Sandilands have used the latest LED technology to ‘paint with light’, producing beautiful patterns that subtly unfold across the bridge structures.

The artwork is best experienced from the river itself, so join the official tour guide on board as they take you on an evening boat journey, and learn all about these great landmarks of London.

Onboard you’ll find a café bar selling a selection of refreshments to make your journey even more pleasant.
